Whether it is lifestyle, business, confidence - let's chat about what makes discuss all the pieces that make you magnetic.
The other day I was meeting with a broker that told me he was terrible at coming up with content ideas, and that it always felt hard to figure out what to say. He then proceeded to have a normal conversation with me that had me asking follow up questions on HOW he did some of the things he did. He mentioned he had a few airbnb properties that brought him 10K in revenue the previous month - I stopped him and asked him what 3 things I needed to do if I were considering doing the same. He gave me a few tips and then I asked him “If I wanted to work with you, how would you direct me to do that?” He told me he’d be happy to find me the properties. I laughed and said - THAT WAS YOUR CONTENT.
Over the last decade, a lot has changed when it comes to social media - some things were a flash in the pan (is clubhouse even still a thing?) and some things have continued to become even more important (ahem. SHORT. FORM. VIDEO.)
Over 82% of all content consumed on the internet today is video content. And the shorter, the better, because on average, the most successful videos shared online are 8 seconds or shorter. So what does this mean for you as a realtor? When you consider your marketing strategy, video (and specifically SHORT FORM VIDEO) needs to be a key component of your efforts. I am guessing you’re sitting there wondering how in the world you’re going to create meaningful content in under 8 seconds, but I’m here to show you just how easy it can be!
Behind the scenes I’ve been hard at work building out not just an additional revenue stream, but an entirely new business. As I’ve gone to work building this out, you’ll probably be surprised at what I HAVE done to start, versus what I haven’t done.
If you’re in sales in any capacity, and I’d argue if you’re a HUMAN BEING, you benefit from and leverage sales skills every day, then you probably spend some measure of time wondering how you can convince MORE people to buy the solution that you sell.
You spend all this time creating killer social media content, only to never reuse or repurpose anything ever again - it’s no wonder you’re frustrated and feel like you’re on the hamster wheel of creating content.
